Washington Digital Radio Enthusiasts

Join us for the Digital Radio Enthusiasts DV8 digital net on a local frequency in or near Spokane, Washington. Everyone is welcome!
This net occurs every Sunday Evening at 8 PM Pacific

The frequency to use, digital encoding mode, and RF modulation method will change for each net as decided by the Net Control Operator.

Members of our groups.io mailing list and group can get the participation details directly. The Net Control Operator sends out a message to all of the recipients of the mailing list each week. The Calendar on our groups.io page is also updated regularly with the participation details as soon as they are available. The groups.io chats feature is used during the net. Look for the DV8 Net chat on our groups.io page.

Purpose of the net:
Hosted by: Randy - W4LKS

Sometimes we use D-STAR transceivers with D-RATS software on the computer. Maybe slow data mode, maybe fast data mode.

Sometimes, you'll need equipment that would normally be used for packet radio QSOs. Sometimes called sound card modes. We may use RTTY, PSK31, Olivia, CW, etc. But the Net Control likes to challenge us. So be prepared to do anything EXCEPT speak into a microphone.

It all depends on what the net control operator decides he wants to use.
